Stacked Workflows runs on Claude with your whole account as context: it reads your real fields, tags, calendars and forms before it builds, edits existing workflows, and creates the tags and fields a build needs. Then it does the account work their AI doesn't touch: audits, one-click ZIP backups, and bulk find-and-replace across every message. The built-in AI is a draft assistant. This is the toolkit.
How is it different from GoHighLevel's official MCP? +
GHL's official MCP is for CRM work: contacts, calendars, opportunities, conversations, payments. It cannot create or edit workflows, and it needs a Private Integration Token set up for every sub-account. Stacked Workflows is the workflow layer: Claude reads, builds, edits, audits and backs up workflow internals through your own login, no tokens. If you also want Claude running your CRM, run GHL's official MCP alongside it. They stack nicely.

No, it's the half those setups are missing. Those tutorials wire Claude to GHL's official MCP or public API: token setup per sub-account, and workflows stay read-only (you can list them, not build them). Stacked Workflows skips the token dance entirely, and Claude actually writes: real workflows, real branches, saved into your account as drafts.
What do I need to build with Claude? Is there setup? +
Chrome, plus the free Claude Desktop app. Setup is about five minutes, once: install the extension, activate your licence, add the Stacked Workflows add-on to Claude Desktop (Settings, Extensions, Install, one file), and flick "Connect to Claude" on. No code, no API keys, no per-account configuration. The backup, audit, bulk-edit, clone and export tools need none of that; they work the instant you install the extension.
Do I need a paid Claude plan? +
Building runs through your own Claude account, so we never charge credits or usage fees. Any Claude Desktop login connects; for serious building we recommend a paid Claude plan (from about US$20/month), and that one plan covers every agency and sub-account you manage. If you're already paying for Claude, you're set.
Does it need my API key? +
No. It works through your existing logged-in GoHighLevel session, the same auth as you clicking in the builder. Your session token never leaves your machine and nothing is sent to us or any third party. The Claude connection runs locally on your own computer, and Claude only sees the workflows you ask it to work on, through your own Claude app.
Will it mess up my live workflows? +
No. Builds and edits save as a draft you review and publish, and bulk edits and clones are actions you trigger and confirm. Nothing changes without you clicking it. For extra safety, back up a workflow to a ZIP before you bulk-edit it, which is one click.
Does it work on white-label GHL? +
Yes. It works on app.gohighlevel.com and every white-label domain, across all the agencies and sub-accounts you manage.
Is this allowed? Will it break? +
Straight answer: it uses the same private endpoints GHL's own builder uses, which makes it powerful but means GoHighLevel could change them and temporarily break a feature. When that happens we patch it, and updates are free. Treat it as a power tool that saves you hours, and always keep the backups it makes. It reads and writes only through your own session, exactly like you clicking in the builder.
